AUMOVIO Korea announced on the 7th that it hosted AUMOVIO Innovation Day on November 6 at its Seohyeon campus. The event was designed to strengthen collaboration with diverse domestic stakeholders, share emerging mobility trends, and explore opportunities for joint innovation. Approximately 100 attendees—including major customers, government officials, and academic representatives—participated.

The program opened with welcoming remarks from Dong-Yoon Kang, CEO of AUMOVIO Korea, followed by a keynote session introducing Hyundai Motor Group’s open innovation initiatives. The event continued with technical demonstrations from eight partner startups and AUMOVIO teams, as well as a networking program. Participating companies included WiLCO, AU, Boynossys, Deep Insight, Yellowknife, DeepingSource, Moflat, and Telechips. These startups showcased a wide range of jointly validated technologies, including AI-based vision safety solutions, child-detection and intrusion-alert radar systems, QD-LED lighting for automotive applications, and privacy-preserving data technologies.

During the event, AUMOVIO presented next-generation mobility solutions centered on safety, immersion, connectivity, and autonomous driving—ranging from advanced display systems and braking technologies to software-defined vehicle (SDV) platforms and autonomous-driving innovations. In the afternoon session, AUMOVIO also introduced Proof-of-Concept (PoC) cases carried out between internal teams and external startups, highlighting the potential to translate real-world challenges into meaningful innovation.

“AUMOVIO Innovation Day was a valuable opportunity to reaffirm the growth potential and collaboration possibilities we share with domestic partners under our future mobility vision,” said Dong-Yoon Kang, CEO of AUMOVIO Korea. “We will continue to expand opportunities for collaboration between AUMOVIO’s advanced technologies and outstanding external partners.”

Launched as a new brand under Continental Automotive Group in September, AUMOVIO Korea is actively supporting promising Korean startups in presenting their innovations on the global stage and expanding their international networks. On October 15, based on PoC achievements from the LinkUp program jointly operated with the Seoul Business Agency (SBA), AUMOVIO Korea facilitated the participation of seven Korean startups in InnoXperience Day, hosted by AUMOVIO’s Singapore R&D Center.
